Self-initiated concept · our own brief, our own brand
The end of the line
Posters only at the last stop of every metro line — where people who slept past their stop wake up.

The brief

The problem
Every earbud promises better noise cancelling. DAOLE’s real difference, a Nap Mode that wakes you one stop before yours, sounds like a footnote on a spec sheet.
The insight
Everyone in Shanghai has woken up at a terminus they never meant to visit. It is a small humiliation people love to retell.
The idea
Buy only the 18 terminal stations. The poster says “If you can read this, you’ve missed your stop.” The only people who see it are exactly the people who needed the product.
How it works
The placement is the targeting. Each terminus gets a line built on a true fact about that stop (Huaqiao is already in Jiangsu; nobody pronounces Xinzhuang right). Commuters post “I slept all the way to ___”, then start collecting the set. A 7-day free Nap Mode unlock on any DAOLE earbuds closes the loop.
What we would make
- Terminal lightboxes
One 1.2 × 1.7 m lightbox per terminus, at the end of the platform facing the last car’s doors. - One line per terminus
Eighteen station-specific lines, each a true local joke, so every stop is worth its own post. - Terminus stamp card
A Xiaohongshu check-in: post the poster you woke up next to, collect stamps, unlock Nap Mode for a week.

What we would measure
- Share of posts that name a specific terminus
- Nap Mode trial activations per terminal station
- Search lift for “睡过站 耳机” in the city vs. control cities
- Trial-to-purchase rate within 30 days
