Self-initiated concept · our own brief, our own brand
Kala: a booking link that lives in chat
A product-led growth plan for a Southeast Asian booking tool, built around chat apps and local QR payments.

The brief

The problem
Global booking tools price in US dollars, remind by email and live in a browser tab. Salon and clinic owners in Southeast Asia take bookings in chat apps and lose slots to no-shows.
The insight
The owner's real software is the chat app. Nobody wants to move their clients to a new place; they want the booking, the reminder and the deposit to happen where the conversation already is.
The idea
Keep Kala inside chat: the link is pasted into the conversation, reminders come from the salon's own account and deposits use the local QR rail. Every booking page carries a small "Booked with Kala" footer, which makes each client a possible next sign-up.
